Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota seeks a Nursing Assistant to assist with patient care under the direct supervision of a RN. You will help with feeding, bathing, mobility, and daily activities, and document vital signs.

This role requires completion of a CNA program or clinical rotations, BLS certification, and prior patient care experience. Shift is 8-hour with every other weekend; pay range is listed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age OR 17 years with high school diploma or GED.
• Must meet one of the following requirements: CNA program OR clinical rotations in accredited nursing program OR Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy OR previous direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care/interventions as assigned.
• Observes, collects and documents health status data as assigned.
• Assists patient with ambulation, transfer and ROM according to activity order and needs.
• Implements fall prevention activities per plan of care.
• May transport medications within the site (excluding controlled substances).
• Other duties as assigned.
