Hennepin Healthcare: STNU department seeks a Health Care Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant on a 0.75 FTE basis in Minneapolis. Position involves 12-hour shifts, days and overnights, with every third weekend, under direct RN supervision.

The role includes patient care, clerical support, and EHR documentation. Requires MN Nursing Assistant Registry cert or progress in nursing program, BLS/CPR, and EPIC/EHR familiarity, with strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire.
Completion of one semester of clinical rotation within an accredited nursing program.
Enroll in and successful completion of the Hennepin Healthcare determined Nursing Assistant program.
6 months of acute nursing assistance experience.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming and bathing.
Respond to patient call lights promptly and escalate as needed.
Record vital signs and input/output following nursing protocol.
Perform point-of-care tests as assigned and document results in the EHR.
