Job summary

Allina Health in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Hospice to join our team. This full-time 8-hour day shift provides comprehensive training and supportive teamwork, with occasional weekend rotations.

You will document visits, assist with bathing, feeding, ROM, and basic wound care, and communicate changes to supervising clinicians. Applicants should have 0–2 years of CNA/HHA experience, be on the MN CN Registry, and hold a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with required competencies.
• 0–2 years as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide.
• Current CNA MN Nursing Assistant Registry and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent cares to patients including bathing, skin care, feeding assistance, ROM/exercise programs and basic wound care.
• Documents all patient visits, reflecting care provided and patient response; updates safety interventions.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to supervising clinician and attends staff meetings.
• Completes patient documentation within 24 hours of visits and weekly activity logs; adheres to regulatory continuing education.
