Job summary

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license for the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support or CPR certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding plan of treatment and progress.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment, treatment and department areas.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure good working order.
• Documents patient treatment and billing in the required format and timelines.
• Adheres to HIPAA, company policies, and applicable laws.
• Attends staff development programs and pursues continuing education.
