Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Home Health PTA to deliver patient-centered physical therapy services in the home setting. The role emphasizes independent work with team support and opportunities for growth with a stable, expanding company.

Responsibilities include planning and supervising PT services, coordinating with the PT of record, and ensuring timely documentation and billing in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as required by state.
• Minimum of one year PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services planned, delegated and supervised by a PT.
• Communicate progress and adjust treatment plans with the PT of record.
• Assist in obtaining adaptive equipment and document treatment and billing per regulations.
• Contribute to care plans and ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
