Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required by state regulations.
• Minimum one year of PTA work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT services planned, delegated and supervised by the PT per Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with PT regularly regarding patient progress and treatment questions.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicates patient needs to PT and assists with adaptive equipment.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation.
• Adheres to company policies, laws, and professional standards.
• Attends staff development and continuing education programs.
