Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Manchester, NH is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will help implement patient plans of treatment and contribute to rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include documenting care, coordinating with the Physical Therapist, maintaining equipment, and supporting a compliant neurorehabilitation program focused on improving functional outcomes for brain and spinal cord injuries.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• CPR or Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a PTA preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides PTA services planned, delegated and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Confers with the PT regularly regarding patient plans and progress.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicates patient needs to the PT and assists with adaptive equipment as needed.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation on time.
• Adheres to company policies, HIPAA, and professional standards.
• Participates in staff development and continuing education.
