Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist focused on neuro rehabilitation to work in real-life environments, outside the clinic, and help clients regain independence. Flexible full-time scheduling and a thoughtfully designed coverage area support clinicians in delivering meaningful therapy at home and in the community.

You will evaluate, plan, implement, and reassess treatments for individuals with neurological diagnoses, coordinating with families and the care team to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses.
• Communicates effectively in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and move patients up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.
• Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
