Job summary

Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for Neuro, PCU to assist in leading a team delivering patient-centered care within the General Neuro EMU PCU. You will help plan, organize, direct and evaluate operations 24/7 and support a culture of nursing professional practice.

Required are a Bachelor’s in nursing with an Ohio RN license and 2–3 years of clinical experience; a Master’s is preferred and certification in nursing administration or related field is

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree in nursing; RN license in Ohio.
• Two to three years of clinical patient-care experience.
• Certification in nursing administration or clinical specialty, or must achieve within eligibility timeline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating patient care operations 24/7.
• Support Nurse Manager and coach patient care staff in designated area.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care operations and services.
