Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of three years RN clinical experience and two years management experience in relevant care setting required.
• Certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise; or certification must be achieved within 18 months of employment.
• Final candidates are subject to successful background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.

Responsibilities

• Oversees plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations for a designated area on a 24-hour basis as needed.
• Plans and develops strategic short, mid- and long-term goals and processes to enhance unit operations.
• Manages, guides, coaches, and evaluates the work performance of patient care staff.
• Promotes collaboration with other patient care departments and related areas.
• Develops, administers and manages unit budget plans; identifies cost saving initiatives.

Education

Baccalaureate degree in nursing

Master's degree in Nursing or related field (preferred)
