Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to drive patient access initiatives within the assigned territory. You will leverage strategies across inpatient/outpatient systems to achieve formulary access, reimbursement support, and site of care offerings for neuroscience therapies.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years in healthcare sales, with strong knowledge of access and reimbursement. Travel up to 30% and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in healthcare sales.
• Understanding and experience in the access and reimbursement landscape.
• Experience in building customer relationships and large account management.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving goals.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel overnight up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of the HUB.
• Provide reimbursement education to support PHI, benefits investigations, and prior authorization.
• Educate on FDA/state requirements for handling controlled medications.
• Collaborate with hospitals, IDNs, mental health centers to meet objectives.
• Direct customers to key education resources and HUB/reimbursement questions.
