Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver neuro home and community services with autonomy and flexibility. The role emphasizes real-life function, 1:1 patient care, and local coverage supported by mileage and drive-time pay.

Weekend incentive pay is available for PRN scheduling. You will assess ADLs/IADLs, cognitive rehab in real environments, home safety, and neuro recovery after stroke or TBI, working directly in patients' homes and communities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of OT experience.
• Knowledge of neuro rehab for neurological conditions preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform home/community evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Discharge planning and provide home safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
