Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in good standing and BCLS certification required.
• ACLS and/or PALS preferred; willingness to obtain certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process on a Neuro Med/Surg unit.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge care.
