Physicians Regional Medical Center, Pine Ridge Campus in Naples, FL, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit on day shift. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with physicians and the health team, and participates in emergencies and education for patients and families.

The role requires 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care, RN licensure, and BCLS with ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure and Basic Life Support required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per the nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
