Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge campus in Naples, FL seeks an RN Charge for Med Surg to oversee a busy unit during day shifts. The role supervises nursing staff, coordinates care with hospital teams, and ensures compliance with policies while fostering a positive work environment.

You will lead patient care planning, manage flow and bed assignments, participate in quality initiatives, and mentor staff. RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience required
• RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and support staff and delegates tasks.
• Evaluates staff performance with feedback and coaching.
• Oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinates care with healthcare teams and manages patient flow.
• Ensures safety and infection control standards on the unit.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Responds to emergencies within the unit and provides leadership.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
