Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge campus in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Neuro Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) Nights. The role requires 0–2 years of acute care nursing experience and licensure as an RN with BCLS.

Eligible for shift incentives, patient-centered care, and collaboration with the care team. The RN will assess and monitor patients, administer medications, and assist physicians during procedures while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and organizational policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Provides age-appropriate care using knowledge of human growth and development.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge care.
