Job summary

Requires Radiologic Technology certification, ARRT credentials, BLS, and 2+ years' experience; on-call rotation included. Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable.
• Backed by BLS certification; progress to advanced specialty certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed high acuity neuro-interventional radiographic procedures per department protocols.
• Prepare patients/work area and anticipate physician needs with neuro devices.
• Operate and troubleshoot C-arms; maintain aseptic technique and radiation safety.
• Educate patients and families; document procedures and medications administered.
• Respond to radiology/neuro call backs and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure equipment quality and maintain supply inventory for uninterrupted service.
• Comply with ethical, legal and privacy standards in radiology practice.
• Collaborate with interventional radiology team and other care providers.
