Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Neuro Special Procedures Technologist to perform high-acuity interventional radiology procedures under department policy and guidance. The role requires strong competency in neuro-focused radiographic techniques and patient care.

You will support rapid response, maintain 24/7 procedural readiness, and collaborate with the neuroendovascular team to manage increasing IR volumes with safe, high-quality imaging and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires demonstrated competency in neuro-interventional radiology procedures.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed radiographic diagnostic/interventional procedures following orders.
• Educates patients and families regarding procedures and care.
• Maintains documentation and ensures efficient workflow in the lab.
• Operates C-arms and other IR equipment safely and promptly responds to call backs.
• Maintain safe patient environments and adhere to radiation safety policies.
