Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required. Additional certifications may be required by area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care.
• Formulate a care plan including discharge planning with input from patient/family and health team.
• Coordinate and supervise activities of the health care team to ensure quality patient care.
• Communicate patient status and progress to physicians and care team clearly and timely.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
