Job summary

Banner Health Imaging team is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform specialized radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate documentation in a busy ambulatory hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and 2 years of experience, with a schedule Mon-Fri 6:30AM–5PM at Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires national certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable.
• BLS certification.
• This position requires 2 years of clinical radiology experience.
• Must demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed radiographic procedures following department/facility policies and orders.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedure and/or treatment.
• Produce high quality images and maintain documentation.
• Demonstrate competence in invasive/interventional procedures and radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Perform and evaluate equipment quality control and ensure safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in radiology practice.
• Ensure efficient department workflow and adequate supplies inventory.
• Collaborate with medical staff and teams to support patient care.
