Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU in Olympia, Washington for a 13-week contract. This night-shift position requires clinical excellence and the ability to work independently within a high-acuity unit.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, critical care monitoring, and collaboration with physician teams. EPIC is used for documentation; nursing staff may float to related units as needed. Active RN license and BLS/ACLS are required; CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a Neuro ICU or similar critical care setting.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Active RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor high acuity neuro patients and ICU patients.
• Float to PCU, MS/Tele, and MS Neuro as needed.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.
• Perform ventilator management and other advanced nursing procedures.
• Report patient status to physician teams and make decisions based on assessment.
