Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. seeks a Travel RN in Neuro ICU for Washington, DC. The position covers nights, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment starting 1/5/2026.

Requires a valid RN license and NLN-approved program completion; ICU experience preferred and Cerner proficiency. This role supports a multidisciplinary critical care team with advanced technology and patient-care duties. The ICU unit cares for neurological and trauma patients using ventilators, monitors, lines, and CRRT.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• One year of critical care experience is preferred
• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement)
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provide neuro ICU nursing care in a multidisciplinary critical care setting
• Manage patient conditions and respond to emergent situations
• Maintain professional and calm demeanor in crisis situations
