Ascension is seeking a Front Desk/Patient Access teammate in Austin, TX for the Neurosciences department. You will greet patients, verify demographics, process insurance authorizations, and schedule visits.

You’ll also handle charge entry, co-pays, and daily financial reconciliations while providing general clerical support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of related experience; licensure can substitute as allowed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of related experience.
• Note: licensure/certification can substitute education or experience if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, check in/out and verify demographic information.
• Obtain and verify insurance authorizations and precertifications; schedule appointments.
• Enter, review and submit charges for procedures; collect co-pays and reconcile deposits.
• Provide general office and clerical support to the Neurosciences department.
