Job summary

Geisinger Clinic seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist I to support neuroendovascular and vascular procedures at Geisinger Medical Center. The role focuses on assisting neurovascular surgeons in high-acuity cases within a Level I Stroke Center.

Candidates must have ARRT-R certification, graduate from radiologic technology training, and be prepared for growth to IR Technologist II. Annual opportunities include a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification required; ARRT-VI/CI/CV within 3 years.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement and scope.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient identification and exam preparation per protocol.
• Apply imaging protocols with ALARA and maintain patient safety.
• Assist in diagnostic, fluoroscopic, or interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and setup for procedures.
• Educate students and health care staff during procedures.
• Monitor physiology and patient status during interventions.
