Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures within the interventional suite, ensuring patient safety and adherence to standards. The role involves setting up the space, preparing patients, and following documentation and compliance protocols.

The ideal candidate may hold an associate degree or technical certification with ARRT certification and prior IR tech experience. A sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical school certificate; or 6 months to 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Radiography Certification and Registration (ARRT) preferred.
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up interventional suite with instruments and supplies.
• Follow aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Handle medications, contrast, and specimens per policy.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping.
• Adapt to provider preferences and update materials accordingly.
• Complete required documentation for procedures and billing.
• Maintain supplies and participate in inventory control.
• Implement radiation protection and patient safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
