Qualifications

• 1–3 years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience reading blueprints, submittals, and manuals
• Ability to perform physical labor up to 50–70 lbs
• Valid driver's license and pass background check

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission and service fire alarm systems.
• Panel repair and reprogramming, device replacement and repair, low-voltage troubleshooting, system testing.
• Program fire alarm, security and access panels with focus on networked systems.
• Respond to service calls and complete troubleshooting and repair work.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specs and manuals.
• Supervise and inspect equipment installation to meet specs.
• Organize resources and documentation for tasks.
• Complete required certification courses and document activity.
