Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled technician to install, program, and service Fire Alarm and security systems at customer sites. You will handle networked panels, troubleshooting, and after-hours calls as needed.

Must have 4+ years in low voltage systems, blueprints reading ability, and a valid driver's license. Some positions may require travel and lifting up to 70 lbs. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems such as Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, CCTV.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience reading blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• Experience with hand tools, test equipment and commissioning devices.
• Must be able to lift 50–70 lbs and perform physical work.
• Willingness to travel and work odd hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control and CCTV systems at client sites.
• Organize technical resources and support for efficient task execution.
• Program networked fire alarm and security panels; focus on networked systems.
