Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Installer III to install, program, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems at customer sites. You will focus on networked systems while supporting panel repair, device replacement, and low-voltage troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating with teams, and ensuring safety and quality on every job. Overnight travel may be required; weekends possible with flexible hours.

Qualifications

At least 1–3 years of experience with Fire/Life Safety and low voltage systems.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals is required.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug tests are required.

Responsibilities

Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, and service fire alarm systems.
Handle panel repair, reprogramming, and device replacement.
Program networks for fire and security panels, focusing on networked systems.
Respond to service calls promptly; perform diagnostics and repairs.
Read blueprints and manuals; supervise installation to meet specs.
