Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring for a field technician to install, program, troubleshoot, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems at customer sites. The role involves panel repair, device replacement, and networked system work, with after-hours service and travel as needed.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in low voltage systems, a CT L6 Electrical License, and ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, config ure, commission, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV systems at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specs, manuals; supervise and inspect installation to meet specs.
• Respond to service calls, troubleshoot and repair; participate in after-hours service program.
• Complete and submit task-related documentation in a timely manner.
