Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring an experienced technician to install, program and service Fire Alarm, Access Control and CCTV systems at customer sites. The role includes panel repair, device replacement, and testing, with after-hours support as needed.

You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, and ensure installations meet contract specs. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year Associates Degree in Electronics/Network/CS preferred.
• NICET II or ability to obtain within first year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, configure and commission Fire Alarm, Access Control and CCTV systems at customer sites.
• Organize technical resources and ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Program panels for fire alarm and security systems, focusing on networked fire alarm systems.
• Read blueprints, submittals, specs, and manuals; supervise installation to meet specifications.
