Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled technician to install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control and CCTV systems at customer sites. Primary focus will be on networked fire alarm systems, with after-hours service as needed.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in low voltage systems, can read blueprints, use test equipment and meters, and hold a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, work flexible hours, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in low voltage Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals, and manuals
• Willing to travel and lift up to 70 lbs; flexible hours including weekends

Responsibilities

• Install and program fire alarm, security, and CCTV systems at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and repair; respond to service calls promptly
• Read blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance
• Coordinate with dispatch and document work orders
