Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Network and VoIP Analyst to maintain the enterprise voice and data network. You will resolve daily network and VoIP issues, work with Security and project teams, and support UC Davis Health's WAN/LAN, VoIP, PBX, and related services across the enterprise.

The role requires strong knowledge of Cisco Call Manager (CUCM), UCCM, Unity Voice Mail, PCCE ACD, and WAN/VoIP protocols. On-site availability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• Experience maintaining large enterprise communications and network systems.
• Experience with LAN protocols and complex OSI level 2/3 understanding.
• Experience with PBX telephone systems add/moves/changes and repairs remotely and on-site.
• Experience with Cisco VoIP architecture including CUCM, UCCX/UCCM, Unity/Voicemail, PCCE ACD.
• Experience with WAN and VoIP protocols (MGCP, SCCP, SIP, H.323).
• Experience configuring switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, wireless, etc.
• Experience with telecom applications (Cisco Unity, Call Manager, PCCE, NEC PBX).
• Strong customer service in handling voice/mail/phone services requests.

Responsibilities

• Network and VoIP operations monitoring and support.
• Troubleshoot voice and data network issues from IT Operations Center alerts.
• Assist in implementation and 24/7/365 operations of UC network services.
• Coordinate changes with Security, project managers and staff as needed.
