Job Description:
Working experience with Cisco Voice Devices: Cisco Unified Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Contact Center Express, Cisco Voice Gateway, CER, and Overhead paging in complex networks.
Have a clear understanding of Cisco Voice network deployment models and should understand the functioning of voice network devices.
Have a clear understanding of signaling protocols: ISDN, SIP, H.323, & MGCP.
Configure, install, schedule/validate maintenance, and troubleshoot Phone and Fax including Voicemails and Auto Attendants.
Work & Coordinate with Third Party Providers to assist in Problem resolution of telecommunication Problems & OEMs for resolution.
Technical knowledge in Nortel, Tadiran, and Legacy PBX.
Technical knowledge on recording solutions such as Nice, Telstart.
Technical knowledge on Fax protocols.
Strong troubleshooting skills on capturing and analyzing voice application logs.
Strong interpersonal relationship skills and strong problem-solving skills.
Drive to any location and be available outside normal business hours, including weekends.
Address emergency production issues after hours.
Provide guidance and recommendations specific to customer requirements.
Provide L3 support to resolve complex and visible production issues as required.
Integrating Voice services with other technologies.
Hands-on experience in UCCX scripts.
Voice Gateways configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
SIP integrations to 3rd party applications (Tadiran, Nortel, AVP, etc.).
Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization from end-user to senior management about both business and IT needs.
Understand network engineering best practices and ability to work independently as well as a team player.
Work closely with project management to ensure timelines are met with a high level of client satisfaction.
Review reports to ensure all services are completely and successfully delivered. Proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered. Use metrics to improve processes.
Communicate deviances from plan/scope to ensure projects stay on track and follow change processes and implement accordingly.
Ability to prepare and review as-built documentation, operating instructions, worksheets, and procedures.
Perform other duties as requested.
Supports the implementation and maintenance of assigned enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure successful deployment and operation by developing and documenting detailed standards (e.g., guidelines, processes, procedures) for the introduction and maintenance of services.
Collaborates with Technology partners to help define and understand target strategies.
Evaluates new service options, identifies issues and impacts.
Provides post-implementation support, making system enhancements as needed.
