Job summary

South Carolina DMV (SCDMV) is seeking a Network Technician II to support and maintain our routing and switching infrastructure at HQ in Blythewood, SC. You will work across departments, configure devices, monitor networks, and resolve incidents with ISIRT coordination as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, security awareness, and excellent customer service while supporting WAN/LAN/WLAN environments and telephony integration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus IT-related experience; Associate/Bachelor's may substitute for experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across departments and with third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, install, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain routing/switching infrastructure.
• Review logs to enforce best practices and security.
• Monitor network resources and report issues to management.
• Coordinate with service providers for orders and outages.
• Support end-user network troubles and perform Moves/Adds/Changes.
