Job summary

Aspen Fiber Networks, a leading IT solutions provider, seeks a proactive Network Support Specialist to diagnose and resolve client network issues and support installation of network equipment. You will train clients, maintain records, and collaborate with engineers to implement enhancements.

The role emphasizes strong TCP/IP knowledge, robust customer service, and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in network support or technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Experience with troubleshooting network issues and providing solutions.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support client network systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues reported by clients.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams.
• Document and maintain records of network support activities and resolutions.
• Stay updated on networking technologies and industry best practices.
• Participate in the training of clients on network usage and best practices.
• Collaborate with network engineers to implement solutions for network enhancements.
