Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Network School Support Administrator (NSSA) to coordinate and facilitate initiatives that support parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders. This on-site role partners with Central Office to build efficient operations aligned with CPS policy and district goals.

Salary is provided on a time-worked basis and the position is exempt. The NSSA will supervise and develop Network Office staff, oversee school operations, budgets, and grant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid PEL and Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Resident Principal, Assistant Principal, and/or Principal experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of initiatives to support parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders.
• Build and maintain efficient systems of operation that serve student learning and district accountability.
• Support Network Chiefs and Deputies in supervision, development, and performance management of Network Office staff.
• Manage school budgets, contracts, and policy alignment; address CPS policies and procedures.
• Support and escalation for school auxiliary services, including facilities, transportation, nutrition, IT.
• Field trips, student enrollment, transfers, and emergency planning coordination.
• Collaborate with CPS departments to address student achievement and school support needs.
• Attend Board Meetings and facilitate communications with families and schools.
