Job summary

Chicago Public Schools seeks a Network School Support Administrator (NSSA) to coordinate and facilitate initiatives that support parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders. This full-time exempt role partners with Central Office to build efficient systems of operation aligned with CPS policy and procedures.

The NSSA will monitor district initiatives using data, provide differentiated principal support, and supervise network office staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and an Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Resident Principal, Assistant Principal, and/or Principal experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of multiple initiatives to support parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders.
• Monitor and support district initiatives using district data and provide differentiated support to Principals.
• Supervise and develop Network Office staff and dotted line resources, including performance evaluations.
• Manage day-to-day non-instructional school operations, including budgets, contracts, and policy alignment.
• Support and escalate issues related to facilities, transportation, nutrition, IT, and other auxiliary services.
• Coordinate student enrollment, transfers, attendance reporting, and school emergency plans.
• Collaborate with Central Office departments and external agencies to support school operations and student achievement.
• Attend Board Meetings to support families and schools as applicable.
