Job summary

Chicago Public Schools in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Network School Support Administrator (NSSA) to coordinate and facilitate the implementation of multiple initiatives supporting parents, community stakeholders, principals, and network leaders. This is a full-time exempt salaried role reporting to the Network Chief of Schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and an Administrative Endorsement / PK–12 Principal Endorsement required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of Resident Principal, Assistant Principal, and/or Principal experience required.
• This is an on-site role requiring daily attendance at assigned work locations and reliable transportation within Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate implementation of district initiatives for parents, communities, principals, and network leaders.
• Monitor district initiatives using district data to identify areas needing Network or CO support.
• Supervise and evaluate Network Office staff and dotted-line resources.
• Manage day-to-day non-instructional school operations including budgets, contracts, and policy alignment.
• Support facilities, transportation, nutrition, IT, and other auxiliary services; handle misconduct and incident reports.
• Coordinate suspensions, expulsions, and emergency referrals; assist with grade changes.
• Oversee student enrollment, transfers, and coordination of evacuations and drills.
• Collaborate with CO departments and external agencies to support school operations.
• Build partnerships and share clear communications regarding CPS policies and procedures.
• Develop reporting systems and dashboards; communicate district data clearly.
