Job summary

EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions with a long history in Reading, PA. We seek a Networking Administrator II to maintain and optimize our LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks, ensuring high availability and performance across our IT infrastructure.

You will work with server/storage, cybersecurity, and help desk teams, providing Level 2 support and proactive problem resolution. Familiarity with Azure/AWS and Windows environments is preferred; after-hours on-call rotations apply.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in network administration, systems administration, or related IT infrastructure role.
Prior help desk, desktop support, or PC-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks for optimal performance.
Manage and maintain network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls, and related equipment.
Perform routine network updates, patches, and configurations.
Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
Provide Level 2 support for network-related issues and escalate as needed.
Collaborate with IT Help Desk and other IT teams to resolve issues quickly.
Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and resolve potential problems.
Maintain records of network incidents, changes, and performance metrics.
Enforce EnerSys policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
