Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks a Networking Administrator II to maintain and optimize our network infrastructure. You will support end-users and collaborate with server/storage, cybersecurity, and help desk teams to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes high availability, performance, and proactive problem solving in a corporate environment with after-hours on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network or IT infrastructure
• Help desk/desktop support experience preferred
• English reading/writing proficient

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks for reliability.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and related network hardware.
• Perform routine network updates, patches, and configurations.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Provide Level 2 support and escalate to Level 3 or vendors when needed.
• Collaborate with IT Help Desk and other IT teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Use network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain records of incidents, changes, and performance metrics.
• Follow EnerSys policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
