Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions with headquarters in Reading, PA, seeks a Cybersecurity Technician to safeguard information systems. You will work with a growing team to identify threats, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance across the organization.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and at least two years in information security, plus strong analytical skills. This role involves deployment of cybersecurity tools and occasional travel up to 5% to support global

Qualifications

Degree in a technical field preferred.
Two+ years practical information security experience.
Strong analytical thinking skills.
Security+ or ISC2 CC or similar certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts and events to detect, analyze, and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
Investigate security breaches; document findings and recommend mitigations.
Support regulatory compliance efforts (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, etc.).
Deploy cybersecurity solutions across global operations and critical systems.
Help coordinate and deliver simulated phishing campaigns to assess security awareness.
Research and summarize emerging security threats and attack methods.
Maintain security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, data security software).
Perform other duties as assigned.
