Job summary

EnerSys is hiring a Systems Administrator I to support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and end-user devices. You will monitor performance, assist with system administration tasks, and help ensure security and reliability across our technology landscape.

The role focuses on providing timely hardware/software support, documenting procedures, and contributing to IT projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in CS or IT preferred.
• 0-2 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+ or Azure Fundamentals are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and performance of server infrastructure.
• Administer Windows servers and related services.
• Support network switches and wireless access points.
• Assist with backup, data retention, and security practices.
• Provide end-user hardware and software support and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
• Assist IT projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
