Network Operations Center Technician

About the role

Are you someone that enjoys helping people with their technical problems and coming up with solutions? Do you like being the person that others turn to when they can’t figure something out? Our NOC center in Las Vegas, NV is looking to bring another NOC tech on to join this rockstar team. This is a team that enjoys their jobs and enjoys spending time together. In a 24/7 environment, there is always something going on and always a friendly face ready to help. This role allows the opportunity to talk to anyone and everyone whether it be internal employees or external customers.

What you’ll be doing

As part of our network operations team, you’ll be the one coming to the rescue of whoever is calling in regarding issues with their connectivity, hardware, software or system issues. You will keep your finger on the pulse of our critical systems to know when to raise the red flag of potential larger issues. As a dynamic company, needs are always changing, but some of the things you will do on a regular basis are:

• Answer customer calls, create tickets, and perform initial triage for issue resolution
• Determine customer impact and urgency of issues
• Escalate or assign tickets to the appropriate team members or engineers when needed
• Own tickets until closure and communicate updates as needed
• Notify internal employees and external customers of any outages

What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety and not just answering the same questions over and over. Are you someone who likes continually learning and figuring out solutions to problems? This position has a variety of shifts available but we do our best to keep a consistent schedule so our team members can plan their lives. The current available schedule is: 1pm-10pmPTTuesday-Saturday but could change. Are you someone with excellent customer service and technical skills? You will also have some of the following:

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited university with at least 1 year of IT Desktop Support experience
• Network certification (i.e. CCNA)
• Network Monitoring Center experience is a big plus
• Wifi Network support experience is a big plus
• Distributed Antenna System (DAS) experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
