Job summary

AXON Networks is hiring a Network Operations Manager to build and lead the Operational Excellence function for production environments. You will own automation, governance, and tooling strategy, partnering with Support, Operations, SRE, Engineering, DevOps, QA, Database Engineering, Product and Security to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale production environments.
• Experience in broadband/telecom or service provider contexts.
• Strong knowledge of CPE (gateways, routers, Wi-Fi, mesh).
• Experience with ISP/telecom customers.
• Experience with embedded software/cloud services collaboration.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
• Production incident response leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Operational Excellence function with roadmap, governance and talent.
• Own automation and tooling strategy to reduce manual work and risk.
• Define production-readiness criteria for new products and changes.
• Create dashboards and reports for reliability, incident performance, and service health.
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable corrective actions.
• Define standards across Support, Operations and Excellence teams.
• Measure automation impact via toil reduction and faster recovery.
• Guide engineers in building self-service workflows and observability enhancements.
