Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking a junior Network Operations Analyst to support a 24/7 enterprise network. You will troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and WAN/firewall issues, work with the NOC, and assist with deploying new hardware and software under guidance.

The role requires CCNA-level knowledge, DDI familiarity, and strong communication. Eligibility for a Public Trust is preferred; on-site or remote work is possible based on needs.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
4+ years in enterprise network management and troubleshooting.
Hands-on CCNA level skills and DNS/DHCP/IPAM knowledge.
Experience with PuTTY and SecureCRT tools.
Ability to work independently and with teams in a security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor trouble ticket queues and respond per SLAs.
Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IPAM issues and communicate with users.
Assist with deploying new hardware/software for network expansion.
Collaborate with technicians to resolve physical layer problems.
Work with NOC teams to resolve WAN, firewall, DNS/DHCP/IPAM issues.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Attend regular operations meetings and report status.
