Job summary

KIPP Memphis Public Schools seeks a Literacy Director, a systems-level instructional leader responsible for driving literacy and English language arts achievement across campuses. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in education or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in literacy/ELA.
• Experience coaching or leading adults (teachers, coaches, instructional leaders).

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time coaching and instructional modeling for teachers.
• Build teachers' capacity to deliver rigorous literacy instruction across reading, writing, and language standards.
• Analyze student work and writing outcomes to identify trends and inform coaching priorities.
• Collaborate with school leaders to strengthen English instructional practices network-wide.
