Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an IT Professional to join the Information Technology team. This role focuses on maintaining two critical networks, applying cybersecurity policies, and supporting end-users across sites.

Responsibilities include configuring network infrastructure, performing hardware upgrades, and delivering advanced technical support while contributing to IT projects within the SES Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience administering a Microsoft client/server network is preferred.
• RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience is preferred.
• Experience providing end-user support is preferred.
• Ability to occasionally travel between Pennsylvania and New York.

Job Description

The Shipboard Electrical Systems (SES) Department is seeking an IT Professional to join the Information Technology team. This position will allow an IT Professional to work as part of a team administering two computer networks that are key to achieving organizational goals. This position will utilize the selected candidate's IT experience while providing opportunities to learn new technologies to grow their IT skillset.

Pay Range

$78,700.00 - $120,500.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
