Job summary
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking engineers to drive adoption of new technologies to support our scientific computing community. The Future Technology team aims to improve high performance computing platforms and develop new hardware and development environments, collaborating with DOE and DoD partners.
Candidates should have advanced degrees in technical fields or equivalent experience, and a proven ability to work across disciplines while communicating complex topics to diverse
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master's with 2+ years; or Doctorate in a related field.
- Or Advanced Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the company.
- Citizenship in the United States is required.
Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of new technologies to support the scientific computing community.
- Interface with DOE and DoD partners to develop and deploy future computing environments.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across disciplines to identify high-impact opportunities.
