Job summary

DHT INFRA VOICE DATA NETWORKS in Dayton, OH is seeking a Network Engineer to design, install, and maintain LAN, WAN and UC networks. The role requires hands-on configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP, VPN and video conferencing, with emphasis on reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of network experience, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent, and a degree in IT or related field. This is a full-time, in-person position with possible 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5–7 years of related network experience.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent Cisco certifications recommended.
• Experience with UC networks, VoIP, video conferencing.
• Ability to work in-person in Dayton area.
• On-call support for a 24/7 operation preferred (healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Design, install, administer and maintain LAN/WAN and UC networks.
• Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN and VoIP gear.
• Lead or participate in tactical network projects and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and optimize network performance with minimal supervision.
• Mentor colleagues and promote teamwork.
