Job summary

Augusta University in Georgia is seeking a Network Engineer II to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house data, video, voice and wireless network services. You will plan, design, and develop LANs and WANs across the organization, and support installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of all network hardware and software.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and four years of experience; CCNA is desirable and CCNP preferred.

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience administering complex LAN/WAN environments.
CCNA level certification desirable; CCNP preferred.

Responsibilities

Configure networks for stable, reliable operation supporting business objectives.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with workstation hardware/software.
Ensure connectivity of servers, workstations, telephony, and network appliances.
Design, deploy, and support LANs, WANs, and wireless networks including VPNs.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to secure products and services.
